Erica Davies inspiration for the Fall Development collection took form from the arts and crafts movement mixed with the unexpected ambience of the 60’s icons. The collection is reminiscent of techniques and prints of the past, the lace stitching, smocking, pintucking, 60’s forms and quirky flower prints. The moody pallete of mauves, grays, stone, black, celadons plays against the contrast of the unexpected colors of rusts, violets and fuchsias.
Five years after its inception, simplicity continues to be the best inspiration for Los Angeles-based label, development. Striking a balance between classic and edgy, development has cultivated a loyal following among stylish women who value a tailored, cool aesthetic.
