Growing up in the small beach town of Vitoria in Brazil, Paula Hermanny spent most of her days as a girl in a swimsuit. As a young adult, her love of travel brought her to San Diego to study English, while still being able to enjoy the beach life. Frustrated by the lack of stylish and functional swimwear in the U.S. market, Paula decided to pursue her design dreams focusing on the contemporary swim market.
